AUSTRALIA’S FAVOURITE MOTORSPORT EVENT
FOR DRIVING ENTHUSIASTS LAUNCHES IN NSW

The inaugural Alphera Dutton Rally NSW will be held from the 17th – 19th of October 2003. Based on the successful Victorian event, the Alphera Dutton Rally NSW is a motorsport rally open to drivers of all skill levels, in standard, road-registered vehicles. Vehicles compete in safe, timed trial events to set the fastest times.

The three-day event begins in Sydney and heads to Goulburn and surrounding areas. Competitors test their skills in individual driving tests staged at Eastern Creek International Raceway, Goulburn Airport, NSW Police Driver Training facility, and Wakefield Park. A Saturday night auto-test will be held in Goulburn City Centre, and promises to be a highlight.

The Alphera Dutton Rally NSW expects to showcase more than $10 million worth of privately owned, premium and high-performance motor vehicles including Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Ford, Holden, Nissan, Subaru and Mitsubishi.

Entrants compete in teams (driver and co-driver) for the fastest times. In a highly organised and expertly controlled environment, closed road circuits offer competitors a well-balanced selection of individual performance-based driving tests including auto test, speed trials and motorkhanas.

The winner of each event must amass the lowest time total and the Dutton Rally is distinct from other motorsport events as there are no navigation elements involved in the challenge.
