BILSTEIN RACING RELEASE MOTORSPORT WORKSHOP

Using a specially-constructed trailer with triaxles, the workshop will attend many major east coast race meetings in future years.

With a staff of two Bilstein-trained technicians, the workshop will re-valve and re-gas Bilstein shock absorbers for competitors at the circuits. This enables drivers to try different bump and rebound rates at each particular circuit, and thereby improve their lap times.

The mobile workshop features the same technical equipment as installed in Sydney Shock Absorbers headquarters, providing clean and professional conditions for this high-tech service. The custom-built trailer is valued at close to $100,000.

Major motorsport categories catered for include the Procar Series for production sports and performance vehicles, as well as the Formula 3 Series. The response from Bilstein-equipped competitors has been extremely positive, with race results proving the investment worthwhile. The highlight of the year will be the recently-announced 24 Hour Race at Bathurst in November.
